TIC. It's amazing how inept some people are with a pair of hair clippers. I used to cut my own hair for a while too, but my wife was absolutely terrible at cleaning up the spots I couldn't see. I would usually end up having to "fix" the spots she tried to trim, so after a while I just gave up and started going to a barber shop again.

As an aside, in college a buddy lost a bet and had to allow some other friends to shave a cul-de-sac on top of his head. Somewhere I think I have a photo...it was pretty funny.
